Registration Day 8:30 A.M – 10:30 A.M. in the LMS gym on Friday, August 4, 2023.  Please enter through the gym doors.

Please make sure you have registered your student(s) online before August 4.

Please proceed to the grade level table and pick up a folder of information. Kindergarten parents will also sign up for phase-in days. Parents will use a computer to complete online registration (if this has not been completed prior to coming to August 4).  When online registration is completed, parents will fill out additional forms:

  • Fee Sheet – Parents complete and give to Mary/Carol at registration
  • LMS Right of Confidentiality
  • Parent email forms
  • PTA parent volunteer form
  • Grade level specific forms

Proceed to office table to pay instructional fees. Fees – $25.00 per student payable to LMS.  Fees are also payable online.

School Age Child Care will have a registration table.  Parents may register for after school child care.  There is no early morning care at LMS.

The cafeteria employees will be available in gym to accept payments.

The PTA will have a table for volunteer sign-up, membership registration, spirit wear, telephone directory and carnival.

HCS Returning Students:  The Information Update window will be open in the PowerSchool parent portal May 1-31 and will reopen mid-July. Currently enrolled Hamilton County School students are required to update information each year.  To get started, click HERE.   Instructions for the parent portal can be found HERE.

Proof of residency is a current utility bill – electric, gas, water – with the parent’s name and address printed on it. If parents have not been living at the residence long enough to have a utility bill, a contract or lease on a house or apartment will be accepted.



To get a Tennessee Health Card School Immunization Certificate, parents should contact their child’s doctor and schedule an appointment for a kindergarten physical. At the time of the physical, the health card Tennessee School Immunization Certificate will be issued.
